I’m back to living in the world of (occasional) three-day weekends! I left my jobs at Shabby Apple and Market Street Grill to work full time as a receptionist for a physical therapy office and it has been a very positive change for me already. I have weekends and holidays off, so I was able to visit my family this Memorial Day weekend after recovering from what my doctor thinks was pneumonia. Exciting times.

So anyway! Here’s a long overdue outfit post featuring a too-comfy-to-be-real-clothes jersey dress and some other lifestyle changes I’ve made, like:

  • Completely changing my skin care regimen and using a cream from Curology every night
  • Selling/donating all of my uncomfortable shoes
  • Getting my hair cut at a barber shop
  • No longer wearing liquid foundation (since my skin has improved drastically!) and instead¬†wearing just liquid concealer and finishing powder (plus brow and eye products)

I hope you all got a chance to spend time with your loved ones this holiday and took a moment to think of those that gave up their lives for our country!

GUYS, I WENT BACK TO A PIXIE CUT LAST WEEK. BEST DECISION EVER. Shout out to Erika at Shep Studios for being a hair goddess.

Also I’m super into this dress – like I had been waiting for a few months for it to come out! And then it was everything I dreamed of, and more.

Look, it’s sort of spring here! This is one of my newest dresses from Shabby Apple, the Lucia dress. (It’s also available in a classic blue chambray.) This dress is adorable and it has POCKETS. I wore it to work (and errands afterward) on Saturday. A couple beauty products featured in this look are from my first ColourPop order – brow color and pencil in “Dope Taupe” and matte lip color in “Midi.”

Floral kimono (Asos), peasant blouse (Shabby Apple), “Wassail” skirt (Shabby Apple)

Fun colors to celebrate this warm weather! I look like I’m hovering because I’m wearing gigantic wooden wedge sandals… with socks, because why not.

The Wassail Skirt is part of Shabby Apple’s winter collection. You can still buy it here!

The last two weeks have been quite stressful, but yesterday was my day off from work (I have two jobs now, whew!)¬†so I had brunch with a friend at Herm’s and the usual Sunday dinner with my family.
